Yellow Tent in My Room
In the States, a change began,
Less in hand, more in plan.
Art and memory, left behind,
More than place, a shift inside,
In new cultures, I abide?
I innovated by purchasing a yellow tent I set up in my room. This tent became more than just a makeshift sleeping area; it transformed into a personal sanctuary, insulated from the deluge of new cultural norms and information that awaited outside its fabric walls.
